Terry--I wanted to thank you for working with our kids this summer in your Finishers Clinic. Within 20 minutes my children looked like new shooters. They improved dramatically in 5 sessions. Terry and staff worked with all three of them despite their different abilities and ages. Couldn' t thank him enough! I couldn't believe it, my kids loved to go to his training site, work hard, complete the assignments and improve. At tryouts the goalie said to my daughter, "I get scared when it is your turn, you shoot so hard!" The instruction given and confidence was priceless. I appreciate your time and encouragement.

Terry & Staff, I don't know what kind of magic you all worked out on the ice today, but it was beautiful! Through my eyes, I have never seen a more caring group of coaches. Through Kate's eyes, she has an awesome support group that believes in her. She chatted the whole ride home tonight about how great practice was. She said it was fun and challenging - perfect for Kate. She is going to stick with it and said that even if she didn't want to continue, she would do it anyway because she doesn't want to let you all down. Isn't that funny??? Dollar for dollar, Puck Control is one of the best developmental programs offered to kids of all ages. Improvement with my 10 and 15 yr olds were quickly achieved and apparent in games and practice. At first, the 15yr old was reluctant to sign up for PC. Now, she solicits me for additional sessions because a "tune-up" needed and it improves her level of confidence on the ice. Coming directly from the mouth of a teenager, that's on strong testament of the results gained thru the PC Clinic. Thanks Terry and Joel...

The skills taught at Skate to Excellence will benefit players of all ages and levels. We could actually see the improvement in our children's skill development through the shooting program. We will definitely be signing up for another clinic. The staff motivates the kids to work hard and gain confidence in their abilities. Our Kids learned a lot and love playing the game more than ever!

The STE Programs are fun and it shows kids the right fundamentals that translate to the ice. The instructor's take the time to make each child feel confident about their abilities and they see the results in their game. As a parent I've seen the difference the STE program has made in my daughters skill and the confidence she's gained. It's convenient and affordable too, thanks STE.

I have had my son in many clinics over the last 9 years. I will say by far Skate to Excellence has been the best teaching tool for my son. the one on one instruction is something that truly impresses not only me but my son as well. I have to say I have always been impressed with Terry Hughes as a coach and teacher of hockey and with the addition of Joel Peterson to the program I am even more satisfied. you cannot watch any of the classes without noticing the passion that Terry and Joel teach with. They expect and do get the most out of their students. My son looks forward to each of the 4 Skate to Excellence programs he is in. I have promote this program to many hockey parents and I am constantly being thanked for telling them about it. Skate to Excellence is a perfect name for this program.

Terry Hughes and his staff does a great job motivating the kids! The STE staff knows how to balance hard work and fun to get the kids coming back for more. The STE staff knows how to create passion for the sport of hockey and encourage hard work to become a better player and as important a better person.
